Thanks for all the support, during our Lent experiment - do you think we should challenge the whole Methodist Church to have a go next year?
In a pause between mouthfuls of chocolate, I offer you:
A PRAYER
When everything was dark
and it seemed that the sun would never shine again,
your love broke through.
Your love was too strong, too wide, too deep for death to hold.
The sparks cast by your love dance and spread
and burst forth with resurrection light.
Gracious God, we praise you for the light of new life
made possible through Jesus.
We praise you for the light of new life
that shone on the first witnesses of resurrection.
We praise you for the light of new life
that continues in our hearts today.
We pray that the Easter light of life, hope and joy
will live in us each day;
and that we will be bearers of that light into the lives of others. Amen.

I understand you buying lots of new shoes on Bank Holiday Monday but a big bag of stationery from Rymans??? How many paper clips does a girl get through in a day?
That's the trouble with staging a photo in a hurry and not shopping for 6 weeks - we were limited to the carrier bags in the office! Having said that - I love stationers, it's do do with my desire to become organised... so we have lots of files and systems at home, just don't get round to using them!
I'm flabberghasted. My first shop today was Rymans and M and S. It's a sign, I tell you, it's a sign!
Happy Easter! Congratulations all!
I went to M and S today and all the Fairtrade jeans had gone! (sob)
That would be a challenge and a half - the whole of methodism - No new shoes - well why not???
